A mouth-watering yum hit me as soon as I opened the door of my car. The smell took me into a follow-your-nose trance and drew me to the door of the parish kitchen.
“What’s cookin?”
“Corned-beef and cabbage.”
I was invited in to see and smell. It was all the more wonderful inside the kitchen where 4 large ovens baked the corned-beef and (Mmm) onions.
