“A Morning Glory at my window satisfies me more than the metaphysics of books.” — Walt Whitman
Obviously, I’m not Walt Whitman; most things are more pleasing to me than books on metaphysics. But these flowers are equally as eye-catching and pleasing to me. Today especially, for my heart is filled with gratitude for all of the love and support that we’ve been shown in these past many years.
I am particularly thankful to the college students who give up part of their summer to be counselors at Camp Kesem. These pictures were taken just after I dropped YaYa off for another full week of this amazing camp that supports kids who have, or have had, a parent with Cancer. These flowers widened my smile even more, reminding me that every morning is a glorious thing to behold. Life is precious, as are all of the things in it.
