Ronin, after gaining 10 pounds in 1 year, is now on a diet.
And since I don’t want my pup to eat my furniture (either out of hunger or boredom), he sometimes has to work for his food as well.

Having a ball
We’ve been having a ball these days. The boys’ friends have been rolling in two by two.
Packing up the memories
The time has come to take down Christmas. These ornaments are the “special” ornaments which are a collection of one new ornament per family member for each year. We have celebrated this tradition since the kids were little until the year my husband died. I thought I’d choose one ornament per year moving forward — beginning in 2009 but try as I might, I just couldn’t manage to find a suitable ornament.
Once in a blue moon
Apparently, having an extra full moon in a 12 month period of time is called a “blue moon.”
It’s a rare occurrence happening only every 2-3 years.
Happening a blue moon appear in our skies, as it did on December 31, 2009, will not happen again until New Years Eve 2028.
