Although I’ve been working at the running store for 3 weeks now, I’ve actually only worked for 3 days. While I’m at work, time rushes past at lightening speed. If only I could harness that energy into my running. *sigh*
Anyway, I have learned a lot. And yet, there is still so much more to learn. First off, not everyone sticks with the same shoe training season after season. Go figure!
My skills for saying hello to perfect strangers are really coming in handy — which is absolutely awesome. Not only that, I get to swap running stories, help people find the right shoe, AND I get paid for it…sort of.
I kind of spent the majority of my first paycheck on:
- Running shoes for YaYa
- A cool jacket for night running
- New socks
- Some pepper spray
As for the new pair of NB 1064‘s, those were free.
