We are pleased to carryover your entry to the 31st annual Napa Valley Marathon to be held on Sunday March 1st 2008. Please keep in mind that this is a one-time deferral….
What a relief! I didn’t know some events actually deferred race entry fees.

A couple of months ago I got robbed when a trail race I had signed up for got canceled because of the Cosco Busan oil spill. Nobody’s fault, but no refund! So it’s nice to see a race not be Nazis about a deferral. Usually, that money’s gone.
