I’m infected with a very serious case of pre-event-mush-brain. This ailment came on rather suddenly and the etiology is unclear. Perhaps it was something I ate, or something I read. I don’t know but I seemed to have picked it up between lunchtime gathering of last minute items for my century and reading an email about the fabulous weather we are going to have for our event.

I returned from lunch, ready to buckle down and git ‘er done. I pulled out a few cases, sent some give-me-what-I-want-ASAP emails, and began reviewing the three hundred and some odd pages of incredibly small font data listings. *Yawn*

Then it was brought to my attention that I addressed the coordinator whom I was demanding things from by the wrong name. Christie, Cecile…it’s all the same. Right? Yeah, I know. My guess is that when you get their name wrong, they aren’t as willing to respond favorably to your give-me-what-I-want-ASAP email. I followed up with an appology email. *sigh*

And what the heck am I reviewing? I might as well be looking at the course map — for none of what I am doing is productive at this point. My brain is an excitement-infused, nervous mass of grey mush. Woot!!
