Isn’t this incredible? This view is the reward following a couple thousand feet of climbing through lots and lots of green.
With many stair step ascents, ladders, and chains to help pull yourself up, it was the most challenging and beautiful hike I’ve ever done. If the incredible green foliage wasn’t enough, Olesen Creek could be heard (if not seen) nearly the entire way.
I love that hike — we did it last year and it really is an amazing view and fun to do. We saw a black bear in the parking lot, which was both neat and disconcerting.
