Stress from work has reached a new high. Our administrative assistant has been gone a total of 4 days now. She was just one of many more to be laid off. It’s sad.
Anyway, guess who has been absorbing My Favorite Admin’s duties? Yup! Me, Myself, and I. The three of us have been printing, scanning, sorting , and filing. We’ve been unjamming the jammed printers, filling the copy machines with paper, and replacing the stapler in the staples. I swear people must be taking the filled stapler and leaving behind their empty one. We’re over worked and fed up.
I also has her other duties — which have more than doubled with the unrenewed contract of our consultant. Apparently, she wasn’t needed either. As a result, I would like to rip out someone’s eyes.
Be warned and STAND BACK!

Uh, yeah…that term is so foreign at this very moment that I had to look it up.
I think a good, hard run oughta help get me there.
That’s too bad that they consider support staff unnecessary!
If it’s not too hot, like it is on my end of the state, I’d say a good hard run is in order!
