YaYa is counting the weeks ‘till school lets out. More exciting than school getting out is the anticipation of seeing his friends from camp again. This camp caters to kids who have (or have had) a parent with cancer. It provides both kids and families a break from the strain cancer drops in a family’s lap, has an astonishing 3:1 camper to counselor ratio, is funded on donations, and is AMAZING.
But YaYa isn’t the only one looking forward to camp week. I am too. For the first time in YEARS, I am planning a trip for myself. A VACATION!
I need a vacation… :-)
