The time has come to take down Christmas. These ornaments are the “special” ornaments which are a collection of one new ornament per family member for each year. We have celebrated this tradition since the kids were little until the year my husband died. I thought I’d choose one ornament per year moving forward — beginning in 2009 but try as I might, I just couldn’t manage to find a suitable ornament.
