I grabbed my camera and headed out the door for an early run today. I’d slept fairly well, in spite of having gotten up here and there to give Tom his medicines. It was a lovely spring day. I’d noticed the blossoms on the trees and wanted to get a few photos of them.
After the 4th or 5th photo, it occured to me…
…my breathing issues might be due to the spring pollens.

Glad you got out to ‘enjoy’ the flowers and a run. I hope your throat didn’t close up on you today.

Beautiful pictures! I have some flower pictures that I’m planning to upload for you, but SD had the camera and he’s been in Europe. I’ll get them up this week.
I ran a race yesterday and I dedicated it to you and your family.

Julie,
Found you over here (it’s Deb from Hal’s place) – wanted you to know how much I’m thinking of you & keeping you so close in my thoughts. I understand whatever your decision is on the running — if you do run in Chicago, I’ll see you there. If not – you will definitely be in the thoughts and hearts of all the V-Teamers.
I still have your cell phone number and was thinking of giving you a call – but see that you are probably overwhelmed with well-wishers, etc. calling to offer love & support. So, I will stay with you here – on your blog – whenever you want, or need to know you have people thinking of you…just look here. I hope the running continues to give you comfort. Deborah

Spring pollen and stress – both can trigger that tight feeling. Glad you got out the door and that it is so beautiful right now. We’ve got the leaves and the blossoms…and the rain.

Julie,
I’ve been gone a couple days, and after I read this post I realized there were others I’d missed – so I went back to read them. I’m keeping you all close to my heart, and thinking of you. And, I want to say thank-you. Thank-you for coming to my blog – it prompted me to come by yours, and thank-you for sharing your time, your thoughts, your world with us. Why thank-you? Because you have reminded me how blessed I am, to look at my husband with new eyes, with remembering eyes, to look at my babies grown into young men and to appreciate each moment with them. Thank you for giving me that nudge.
