the stars did not line up March 3, 2009 by Juls By now, you probably all figured out that the stars were not aligned on race day. There is story to tell, but I am still digesting the whole experience. Suffice to say that I finished the race in 4:18. There will be another marathon this year.
Susan says March 3, 2009 at 11:07 am Juls, 4:18 totally rocks. I would bite someone’s arm off to run a 4:18.
jkhenson says March 3, 2009 at 11:08 am I’m sorry the stars were not aligned. I know that feeling of being bummed when marathon accomplishments don’t meet your expectations, how it’s just not the joy of “just finishing” a marathon. I hope you feel better soon.
Wes says March 4, 2009 at 8:00 am Yup… 4:18 is rock-in. Note to self: stay a comfortable distance from Susan…
