There are geckos all over the trail. They blend in and are easily missed. So watch your step and avoid squishing them.
Archives for January 2020
His small group training sessions have been a staple in my weekly conditioning. With the roles reversed, my son has enjoyed bossing me around. I have enjoyed getting pushed to give a little more than I think I have left on these training days. It’s been great.
But, now that he takes on the Lead Trainer Role at the gym, he will no longer be teaching these sessions. While I am proud of his ambition to move up the ranks, I know that I am not the only one who will be missing these sessions with him.
MUU…
This van, located in the parking lot of my work, reminds me of Big Sis. In high school, her friends used to call her “cow.” This was not because of her eating pattern, although all of my siblings (myself included) were known to put away a large amount. My maiden name, when pronounced in the English manner, sounded a lot like cow in the beginning.
Sis, if you are still reading my blog, this post is for you. I love you.
When he leaves the toilet seat up…
When he leaves the toilet seat up, the dog drinks too much water and pees in the house. It’s no good and makes me aggravated.
Even so, I’d never punch my YaYa. In fact, I even have a hard time doing so when he instructs me to make a body shot during his boxing training session. Still, it made for a fun photo on this last day of his unique class. I am really proud of how he set out to do something unique and made it work. There’s a handful of us regulars who training with him weekly. We’re going to miss it.
BUJO 20/20
I took up bullet journalling last year after 21st Century Mom wrote about it in her blog. It started out basic and, quite frankly, a little boring. I knew that I had to change it up if I was to keep it up. So I learned to add some flair, came up with themes for the month, added inspiring quotes, and made it my own.
So far, my BUJO for 2020 has not been very creative or inspiring. But I have great hopes for the months ahead. It may not look like much right now, but I think it is going to develop into something great in no time at all.
