Fair Weather Friend
I never thought I’d be a fair weather friend. However, it seems that I have been exactly that lately. Cindy sent a text inquiring on my availability for an afternoon hike and I passed on it.
I can remember back in my running days, going out in a storm for upwards of 3 hours. I don’t know what happened to that HARD CORE gal I used to be.

X-Country Throwback
When BoBo was living in Hawaii, he attended an all boys catholic high school. This throwback photo was one that his uncle sent to me. If my memory serves me correctly, I believe he kicked some booty in this x-country meet — even though he would tell you that he found running to be boring.
Kobe Madness
My son has been a fan of Kobe Bryant for as long as I can remember. Of course, his enthusiasm has rubbed off on his younger brother as well. Collectively, they have A LOT of Kobe gear. Pictured here is just some of BoBo’s loot which he collected up in an attempt to win tickets to an upcoming Lakers game.
He didn’t win — however, given it was the only thing he wanted for his upcoming birthday, I sprung for 2 tickets to the Lakers v. Wizards game on March 27th. The boys will head south together, stay with their Awesome Auntie Mary, and see the game.
Dancing Shiva
One of the many deities, Lord Shiva is often referred to as the destroyer. My knowledge is pretty limited but I think the general concept is that this destruction is one where the bad is removed to make way for something good.
