There are some days where I feel like I am at war right from the start of the day. Before the sun has even lifted it’s head to look over at the clock to see how much time it has left to rest, I have begun my battle of the day. It’s no good starting off the day like that. You look for ease but only find opposition. You close your eyes, but when you open them, everything is just the same.
Then something happens… Maybe it’s not for hours. But if you’re lucky it’s soon after you begin moving forward.
You put one foot in front of the other, windmill your arms perhaps and propel yourself upright. Noting the strength in your legs, you root yourself firmly in the ground. You stretch your arms out in either direction as if to say don’t mess with me.
It is here you find the ease you’ve been looking for. Here in Warrior 2, you find that you are not just posing, you have become a warrior too.
