I missed church yesterday. Missed it. It didn’t even enter my mind until mid-morning.
Then tonight, I arrived at YaYa’s school with ample time to waste during his basketball practice. The lovely hills caught my eye causing me to turn towards the church. It looked inviting with its beautiful stained glass windows glowing in the setting sunlight. So I went in.
Moments later, I found myself kneeling in a pew and feeling blessed for all that I have discovered about myself in these past few years. I’ve changed. I’ve grown. And I’ve made many new and different friends. For this, I am so grateful
I thought about all of this while peering through the stained glass in search of today’s daily photo. I am happy to have taken the time for my weekly hello.

I’m popping over from Irene’s blog. Stained glass is so pretty. There’s just something about it. Great job on the 15 miler. And I think it’s so cool that you smile and say hi to everyone you see on your run.
