YaYa dressed in record time this morning. Perhaps it was the fact that his school day would have a Mardi Gras festival followed by Valentine’s Day parties. Perhaps it was the fact that it was a day for free dress (bottoms) with either pink, red, or white (tops) instead of the usual Catholic School uniform. The why didn’t much matter to me; I was just happy to have a day off from hounding.
It also afforded us another trip to Peet’s. There was only one problem…
There is holy, and then there is hole-y. It wasn’t until we were in line that I took a good enough look at YaYa’s pants noting that they were the latter. His pants were so, in fact, that his entire left knee was exposed. *sigh*
Of course we had to go home to change, less I get to work only to be called back to bring him a decent pair of pants. These pants have a habit of coming out at times like this. They’ve been in the pews many of times. Perhaps that is how the knee hole got so large. I don’t know. And I couldn’t help but laugh at YaYa for not considering the dress code and, more so, myself for not noticing until we were basically at the school.

Hmm… Holes worn in the knees because he spends so much time praying in church? Yeah, tell that one to the nuns. I think we both know what would happen next…

Holes only make the pants that much better, right?
And I solved the mystery of where your blog went. I have both entries in bloglines – doh!
