Do you know that girl who you often see running? You know the one I’m talking about. She’s the one who seems to effortlessly glide down the street. The one that everyone notices, even stops what they are doing just to watch her pass. Do you know who I’m talking about?
Well, today, that girl was me! It was awesome.

Things are breaking. First, my water heater…and now my sprinklers, oven, and — the newest addition — my dishwash.
When I found the puddle of water under the sink, followed by the undrained water in my dishwasher, I wanted to cry.
One by one, the appliances in my house are breaking. It’s as if the house is saying “You don’t need a roof over your head; you need to eat.” And I DO need to eat, but I also need to relax and enjoy some worry-free days. Is that too much to ask?
I am going to crawl under a rock for a while. Let me know when it’s all over. Or at least let me know when L is back so that I can crawl back into his arms and cry.
