This morning, I was awake and not wanting to be, well before 4 am. My head HURT, but the pain in my leg was equally as troublesome. It had become red and swollen beyond the edges of the wound, and I could not manage to find a position where the sheets weren’t touching it. And I was cold.
Several times, I’d made the trip to the bathroom to inspect my pupils. Everything appeared to be in check:
- Pupils equal in size, round and reactive to light
- No nausea or vomiting
- No dizziness
- I knew who I was. I was the klutz who’d fallen on the treadmill at the gym yesterday.
