Red Socks YaYa had a fun time in flag football today. The team was down a few players and YaYa got to play a whole lot more. I watched the game from the other side of the field and learned a thing or two.
– First off, our team is quite good. Knowing very little about the game and, apparently not paying much attention, I did not realize that we have been winning almost every game.
– Also of great importance, the season is not over. They have playoffs. Can you guess when they are? They are not this coming weekend; that is Thanksgiving weekend. They are on the following weekend. *sigh* Don’t they know that that is marathon weekend?!
– YaYa is pretty good when he is given the ball, which he was given during this last game. I might have missed it. I was talking on the phone with Coach when I first noticed. I nearly dropped the phone when YaYa dropped the ball. He was given the ball almost immediately and he ran hard until his flag was yanked. He looked pretty happy out there.
