Once, when Eric still road the train, I grabbed his running gear at met him at the station. Forgot the socks. He ran without them, and got blisters from just a half hour run!
Another friend of ours got to the track one night, only to discover that his shoes didn’t have insoles – they had been put in another pair.
I forgot socks once. I was going to go without but my running partner convinced me to wear my dress socks. I pushed them down as far as I could. I don’t think anybody noticed or cared.
I once packed a shoe from two different pairs. At least I had a left and a right.

I’ve done that, and have the big blisters to show for it!
By the way, I’ll try to think of a publisher specializing in poetry books for you. I haven’t forgotten…just been swamped.

If you checked my sidebar, you’ll see that I did get my run in. I cut it short though – because of a tender left shin. My arches are pink.
Another thing that is good to remember is the energize garminia (or at least turn her off between runs).

A shirt? in winter? Yep, that was me. Going out in just a bra didn’t really seem like an option.
