Like the boys on the field at Saturday’s football game, this year seems to be whooshing past at lightning speed. Can you believe it is October already? 2013 will soon be just a blur. This is why I tell people that YaYa will only be with me for < 4 more years. I want to enjoy this time while I have it for no matter how many photos I take, trying to capture the moments, there simply is no way to preserve it all.

And why would I? I want my boy to grow and live his life as I have. Not in the same way but as he chooses. In the meantime, let’s see if we can’t have some fun together.

Like maybe it’s time to cross off an item or two from the Bucket List. Over the years, my short list has grown in a cross-off-one-thing-add-two fashion — but a few of the original items remain. Now might be a good time to consider the ones involving my children. Because time really does fly by…TOO FAST.
