Like it or not, the holidays are pushing their way into our every-day. In store windows, on the television, and even hanging from the ceilings are the ornamental reminders — which we cannot possibly ignore.

How often do kids find the joy in playing with what ever happens to be lying around? It hardly seems like it ever happens. But when it does, it’s fabulous!

It was the same with today’s race. I toed the line not knowing what sort of race I’d get. What a surprise to bump into Forrest Gump, sitting on a park bench, just reminding us how lovely the day was. Indeed, it was like destiny.

It’s funny how differently things look at sunset. This bit of water and the surrounding area look kind of ugly in the light of day.
