On Day 3 of California’s “Shelter in Place” Order, I take a break from my work to walk the dog. It’s been a busy week. Not only is my day job picking up the pace, but the yoga studio where I teach part time urging each of us to create an online presence to continue to serve our yoga community. On my lunch break, I hop on Zoom calls to all things YouTube and video editing. At the end of the day, I’m exhausted. Yet, still, I know that I am blessed.
It is moments like this, where I head outside with the dog, breathe in a bit of fresh air, and enjoy the last of the sunshine are precious. We stop to admire the flowers… and I think They call it Poppy Love.

My so-called “daily photo” project is anything but daily. I shouldn’t be surprised. Ten years ago, when I last took on this exercise, the world of blogging was quite different. It was easier to create for the audience was plentiful and personable. I felt like I knew everyone who’s blog I read and who was reading my blog. There was an interaction, an exchange of ideas, opinions, encouragement. And this fueled my passion to create. Now-a-days, I am not even sure if anyone is reading at all.
