Things are breaking. First, my water heater…and now my sprinklers, oven, and — the newest addition — my dishwash.
When I found the puddle of water under the sink, followed by the undrained water in my dishwasher, I wanted to cry.
One by one, the appliances in my house are breaking. It’s as if the house is saying “You don’t need a roof over your head; you need to eat.” And I DO need to eat, but I also need to relax and enjoy some worry-free days. Is that too much to ask?
I am going to crawl under a rock for a while. Let me know when it’s all over. Or at least let me know when L is back so that I can crawl back into his arms and cry.

Oh, and I AM counting my blessings that it is only my house and not my health. Still, it sort of sucks.

It does seem like things break all at once, or close together, anyway. For us, it’s always cars. Sounds like your entire kitchen is in a state of rebellion.

That’s a lot of bad appliance luck! Geeeez!
And yes, it does suck. Even if “it could be worse”, it still sucks. Fingers crossed that this is the last of it!

Oh that’s no good – no good at all. It also reminds me that I was going to buy a home owners insurance policy to protect me from my on again, off again furnace. Might be too late! Oh .. and my dryer doesn’t dry the clothes very well any more. sigh…..
