If you reveal your secrets to the wind, you should not blame the wind for revealing them to the trees.” – Khalil Gibran

Forward Motion
The road ahead may not always be clear. We put one foot in front of the other and plod forward. Sometimes, we forge ahead with intention; other times our movement is tentative at best. It’s not always easy but continued forward motion is a good thing.
and so…it’s what I am doing.
little blossoms
While out for my lunchtime walk, I stop to admire the blossoms on the trees. There is nothing extraordinary about my location. Nothing extraordinary at all but it sure is lovely.
solo socks
The number of solo socks collecting in the basket in our garage is a little crazy. Today, YaYa tried to play matchmaker and find mates for the inhabitants of the basket. His efforts actually yielded in a large amount of socks hooking up with another.
And yet, there are still a large amount of solo socks remaining.
Who are we?
We are Spartan!
Well, Robert and I did another Spartan race. He has pulled his friend, Keith into the mix and we are showing him the ropes (literally and so-to-speak).
Aroo, aroo, aroo!
A month ago, I planned to run as much of this race as I could. I wanted to see what I was capable of doing. But, when the time came to hop into the starting corral, I opted to tag along with Robert and Keith (sticking to their pace). We didn’t break any records, and failed a handful of obstacles along the way. My burpee grand total was 180. They weren’t pretty but I did every one of them.
