This past weekend, I got a taste of both.
Getting the extending family all together in one place can take an epic force of nature (read: coordination and flexibility). On Easter Day, Big Sis was to be traveling through my neck of the woods, en route to a gathering with her in-laws. She reached out to the family and we all made arrangements to meet for about an hour at the coffee place near my house. ETA 11 am.
As luck (flat tire) and bad weather would have it, her time of arrival was pushed back. Nonetheless, we all gathered and waited patiently for her to arrive.
We all had a pleasant little reunion. Sadly, my favorite [only] brother wasn’t able to make it this time. It was energizing.

Hey Sis,
You are famous among my two regular readers — both of which are pictured in the post.
