Cindy is another friend who has been a huge support for me over the past many years. From cooking up not one but 4 main dishes, in addition to recruiting her friend to back a pie, for Papa’s memorial to hanging out with the kids on the sidelines on many a marathon, or just listening — Cindy has been there.
Today was my day to give a little back.
Things look a little different at the end of the day. Not necessarily better; just different. While this picture, taken while on the way home from another fabulous house concert, isn’t so great it absolutely portrays the peaceful, relaxed feel of the night.
Great music at an intimate venue, a bit of red wine, and sweet company. What more could a girl ask for?
An extra hour of sleep? Sure. I’ll take that.
