Lincoln, NE does not appear to have a whole lot going on. Of course, I could be wrong. It’s not like I’m out checking out that night life.
Almost as soon as I hit my room, I changed and ventured out on foot — with camera in hand. This would serve two purposes. (1) Run 3 miles, and (2) Photograph the Cornhusker.
I wasn’t counting on ending up in a questionably safe area, or getting this lovely picture of Lincoln at sunset.

Looks like you’ve probably already found the haymarket district?

well, we know you can run real fast, but be careful :-)

unless I’m mistaken, the Roller Skating Museum and Hall of Fame still resides in Lincoln, Nebraska. We went there twice back in the day when my oldest was speedskating for Nationals. With any luck, we’ll be back there again, maybe not this year, but soon enough. Be safe.

It can be pretty there, and it’s a good place to think and meditate, but after about a week I’m really missing home and the coast.
