It’s the beginning of another school year, and another picture of them on the first day of school. Just look at my boys. It seems like just the other day when YaYa was just starting kindergarten, and not much longer when BoBo was in elementary school.
Now YaYa is beginning 4th grade and BoBo is a sophomore in high school. Yikes! They are quickly turning into handsome young men. It is happening too fast.
With them back in school, the mornings are rushed and the evenings are busy. I am pushed to adjust to the return of the homework and strict policing of bedtime.
Sadly, time got away from me today and I wasn’t able to get my run in. I did manage to “Gumby” my workout schedule and did Thursday’s strength training instead of the Tuesday 5-6 mile run. It’s good that Coach is open to flexibility.
They are so handsome! Soon YaYa will catch up with Connor in height. You are doing an awesome job!
I have to admit that as much as I miss having young children around I don’t miss the school routine at all. When you work outside the home fitting the whole “school thing” in is hard. And yes – that does sound ridiculous but it is true! I say that in spite of being grateful that for all 3 of my kids the ‘school thing’ has lead them to college.
OMG! I forgot to take the first day of school pictures…can I just pretend? I swear my brain is oatmeal these days.
Your boys are so handsome. I agree that school makes everything MUCH more complicated.
Good looking boys! I love the difference in height…as someone else said, one of these days they’ll both be tall.
Back to school is hard, but sorta fun. Even for us homeschooling types!
