Life is good — following my yoga practice. The soreness I wake up to has resolved, at least for the time being. There is certainly more I can and should be doing to keep my body and mind healthy. And while I know that there is much more that I can do to keep my body healthy, I am happy to report that I am consistent in keeping this as a priority.
I have put on about 5 extra pounds over the past year. It’s not a lot, but at 5’2″, I notice it A LOT. I’d like to work it off and know that yoga is not going to do that for me. I need to incorporate some cardio back into my week. The question is WHEN?
I currently have a membership at Retro Fitness but I hate going there. The color scheme of bright red and yellow gives me a headache and reminds me of McDonalds. I think it’s time to cut it loose and possibly find a place that I enjoy — so that I will actually use the membership.
