so long, simby
These moments of quiet are few and far between. Since this youngster has arrived in our house, our world has been whirling and twirling and in a constant state of flux.
Nonetheless, we’re going to miss this guy.
“Simby,” as BoBo calls him, and Ronin have been constant companions this summer — although they hardly ever seem to “play” with eachother. For the most part, Simba has respected Ronin’s space. In turn, Ronin has shared all but one of his stuffed toys with Simba.
I can’t be sure, but I have a feeling that Ronin is going to miss this guy when he returns to the Georgia. Perhaps even more than one might think. Because, on top of Simba leaving, YaYa will also be returning to school.

Life is a journey and, for me, running is a huge part of it. Just like a great run, it has easy and tough parts. It is beautiful at times and ugly at others. Hopefully, I will reach the finish feeling good about what I have accomplished and leave a long trail of bread crumbs to show, those that wish to know, where I have been.
