caboose gettin’ loose
It seems like just yesterday I was shaking my head while running past a bunch of young kids walking down the center of the railroad tracks. Oh wait…it WAS yesterday! As a general rule, playing on the railroad tracks is a BAD IDEA. Who could dispute that?
Nevertheless, when there are no trains in sight, these particular tracks scream for some railway play. Just be sure to bring along your own train-spotter before letting loose your inner caboose.
Do your thing quickly, and don’t be surprised if you draw a bit of attention in the process.
‘Cuz you know, people generally frown when seeing a runaway caboose.
Note: The train only runs on Tuesdays & Thursdays on these particular tracks.

Life is a journey and, for me, running is a huge part of it. Just like a great run, it has easy and tough parts. It is beautiful at times and ugly at others. Hopefully, I will reach the finish feeling good about what I have accomplished and leave a long trail of bread crumbs to show, those that wish to know, where I have been.
I know there’s a funny in there somewhere!
