on the run
The day started off on the wrong foot. I’m sure my intolerance for things not going my way had nothing to do with my head not hitting the pillow until close to 2 am and me being wide awake at 5:30 am. Nah, couldn’t possibly have been that!
By the time noon rolled around, I was itching to get away from it all. Once out the door, it became evident that it didn’t matter what I was doing, so long as it was by myself.

Life is a journey and, for me, running is a huge part of it. Just like a great run, it has easy and tough parts. It is beautiful at times and ugly at others. Hopefully, I will reach the finish feeling good about what I have accomplished and leave a long trail of bread crumbs to show, those that wish to know, where I have been.
