joy, joy, joy
I just love the mornings where my morning on-the-go routine is oddly breathtaking. As my little car crests the highway onramp, and the sea of traffic comes into view, I gasp at the beautiful backdrop of the sunlit hills. The contrasting serene and bustling energies bring a smile to my face. I feel so lucky to be at the heart of high-tech yet so close to the mountains, beach, and farmlands.
I have lived in this part of the states for all my life but only now have I really come to appreciate it for all that it is. Even so, it’s not every morning that I feel this appreciative of the many ways I am blessed. Today, I am so happy to start off my day feeling such joy and love for life and everyone in it.

Life is a journey and, for me, running is a huge part of it. Just like a great run, it has easy and tough parts. It is beautiful at times and ugly at others. Hopefully, I will reach the finish feeling good about what I have accomplished and leave a long trail of bread crumbs to show, those that wish to know, where I have been.
