This is just one of the inviting stopping points along an all too popular running/biking path in the area. I’ve been past here a million times or so but have never actually stopped here until now. After a long work day, when my mind grows impatient with not-so-trivial things such as knee pain, I hear my high school cross-country coach say “have a sit down.” And so, I park it here and enjoy the view for a bit.

Life is a journey and, for me, running is a huge part of it. Just like a great run, it has easy and tough parts. It is beautiful at times and ugly at others. Hopefully, I will reach the finish feeling good about what I have accomplished and leave a long trail of bread crumbs to show, those that wish to know, where I have been.
