Nesting Time
Every year, about this time, my front stoop is covered with twigs of various sorts. It’s the sure sign that it’s nesting time once again.
Year after year these birds build there nest just above our front door. Unfortunately, year after year, they freak out when the front door actually opens.
and THIS happens…
You guessed it — Year after year.

Life is a journey and, for me, running is a huge part of it. Just like a great run, it has easy and tough parts. It is beautiful at times and ugly at others. Hopefully, I will reach the finish feeling good about what I have accomplished and leave a long trail of bread crumbs to show, those that wish to know, where I have been.
We have a similar bird that nests above our front entryway and her cooing each morning is oh-so-soothing. No smashed eggs though…guess we’re lucky that way.
