Add 1/2 of cube of butter to a fresh bowl of air-popped popcorn and you will find that there *is* such thing as too much butter.

    And weird — I had not made popcorn since I moved into my new place — until last night (for the Butler/Duke game) — right about the time you posted this! [I do mine on the stove in olive oil.]

    I know; I know.  Air-popped and not that “popcorn topping” they have at the theaters. It’s REAL or nothing for me.
     
    The butter tastes so much better when you don’t know when the tasty surprise is coming.  Popcorn drenched in butter is not as fun. Duh!
