sizing things up
Today, was day #2 of my 2nd job. That’s right; I have TWO new jobs. I’ve been working 1 day a week at a local running store.
Boy oh boy was today a busy one! I was not as helpful as I wanted to be. It seems that there is a lot of shoes. And with all of these shoes comes a lot of knowledge to be had.
Already, I know that I am going to love sizing up the customers and helping them stay on their path towards health & fitness. Who knows: I might make new friends, or gain a new running partner or two. I’d like that.

Life is a journey and, for me, running is a huge part of it. Just like a great run, it has easy and tough parts. It is beautiful at times and ugly at others. Hopefully, I will reach the finish feeling good about what I have accomplished and leave a long trail of bread crumbs to show, those that wish to know, where I have been.
