Room for waiting
The look on YaYa’s face as he heads back for his therapy appointment is priceless. Dr Games is F-U-N.
I’m not sure that YaYa is always aware of the conversation as much as the games played in parallel. All he knows is that he enjoys coming here and comes away feeling great. That’s all that matters to me as well; I’m so glad I was able to give him this.
Before heading back, Dr Games and I discussed YaYa’s laid-back approach to tasks and how, although it is ill-fitting with the hustle and bustle of our society, it is a healthier approach to have.
I talked about how strained our home life has been with my current job and how we have been in a frenzied state of rush-rush for 4 months now. Today, with my prospective job being much closer to home, we anticipate the ability to ease up on the pace. It’s exciting.
While YaYa and Dr Games do their thing, I have a full hour to test out the slow pace. How nice to have room for nothing more than waiting and simply being ME.
Enjoy your weekend!
