a little WILD
I should probably be asleep right now, but I am too amped up to sleep. YaYa’s team played another tournament game today and pulled another WIN.
Although YaYa never arrived on base, he played very well. The whole team did.
The fun continues in the morning — bright and early. It’s the championship game. Can you believe it? We’ll be up against a team that has surpassed ALL of the other teams all season long.
These kids have improved SO much this season. Right now, they may be feeling like a wild card of sorts but, the truth is, they worked hard and earned their spot.
There is no reason to believe that this wild bunch of boys could pull another win. Of course, prayers, good thoughts and karma would probably help too.

Life is a journey and, for me, running is a huge part of it. Just like a great run, it has easy and tough parts. It is beautiful at times and ugly at others. Hopefully, I will reach the finish feeling good about what I have accomplished and leave a long trail of bread crumbs to show, those that wish to know, where I have been.

FYI: Because the team is undefeated, YaYa’s team will have to beat them twice to take 1st place. Then…the team would go on the the Tournament of Champions.
